The Royal Queensland Art Society (RQAS) opens daily, Mon-Fri 11am-3pm; Sat/Sun 9am-5pm. Exhibits of quality original works by local artists change monthly. Gallery admission is free; new members welcome. 'Art in the Park' brightens the grassy area beside the Gallery on the 2nd Sunday of every month, 8am-2pm, weather permitting, & art classes are held on Level 1 during the week.
